
BOOTY DANCING
Wanna be a dance floor diva? Then come Booty Dancing with Sarah D! Booty dancing combines African, Cuban, Jamaican and hip-hop dance styles with sassy butt shaking moves. Sarah has combined her sassy & sensual dance moves with the grounding and rhythmic styles of African movement – the birthplace of dance.
It’s fun, sexy and strong and it’s a great way to improve tone, strength, co-ordination, flexibility and confidence. Bump, grind and shake your way to better fitness, health and vitality.
What to wear? Sneakers or bare feet – along with comfy loose fitting clothing/dancewear that allows freedom of movement!
ADULT BALLET
This is an intensive crash course on the major components of classical ballet. Focusing on lines, leg extension, fluidity of movement, strength, flexibility, and posture.
Working towards an Intermediate level. Includes barre & centre work, turning movements and allegro.
Anyone attending pole or burlesque classes, or any person wanting to improve line, fluidity and strength will benefit from this beautiful course.
Taught by our own ballet star Lesley, who has extensive International experience as a classical dancer, performer and teacher.
Please note students will need to have their own ballet flats to dance in.
CRAZE OF THE 80’s
You need to get crazy with the 80s!! This vigorous, bouncy and colourful course will teach you all those crazed 80’s moves to get you going on the dance floor! and get you fitter than Fonda for Summer! Yeh! Crotch thrustin’ fun courtesy of Jamie Lee Curtis & John Travolta. Skank the morning away in your high ride leo-tard – perfect way to kickstart your weekend – and your Summer. Leg warmers, leotards & headbands essential. All levels, all ages and all sexes welcome.
LUXE LADIES LIMBRE – STRETCHY COURSE
A gentle, yet challenging open level stretch course focusing on the entire body from neck to toes. Proper stretching can help prevent injuries and may also help to repair them.
Stretch class is also strengthening at the same time and will improve posture, poise, and well-being. This class will be progressive, teaching you techniques that will maximise your stretch in various areas each week. With her experience, Tani will be able to get you stretching properly and doing things you never thought possible with parts of your body you didn’t even know you had, which can be useful in all manner of scenarios!
