DATES TBC BUT WE ARE NOW TAKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Whether you’re a 1940’s foxy lady, a post modern punk, a 60’s starlet, a glamour puss, or Miss Moulin Rouge , this three week course will You supply the costumes; we teach you the tricks; and Siren Doll Lingerie presents you with a $20 gift voucher to help you Now here’s the programme! Week 1: Getting to know your body: Through warm-up and movement you will learn how your body creates shapes and poses that work for pin up style photography. This will include standing, sitting and lying poses. Working with props: You may choose to work with a prop such as a fan, an umbrella, a cocktail glass, a hat, or even a whip! This section will teach you how to use a prop and the importance of bringing it to life! The Mood Board: You will be shown a mood board and will be asked to create one over the following week to bring to the next class. This will help you, the photographer, and the make-up/hair stylist achieve the unique look you are going for. Week 2: Tips from a model: International model and owner of the Model Academy Miss Emily Stonehouse (www.modelacademy.com.au) will be working with you to help break down the barrier between you and the camera. She will teach you the do’s and don’ts of modelling and give you valuable tips on how to work with a photographer from the models perspective. Present your mood board: Each student will present their mood board to the make-up artist/hair stylist and the photographer so they can see what image you are wanting to portray. This will help you and makeup artist & photographer to create your look. See how it’s done: There will be a ‘mock’ shoot with the famous Burlesque photographer Michael Prior (www.michaelprior.com) and a Bottoms Up! model to show you what to expect and how to work when doing your shoot. Week 3: THE SHOOT You now have the tools to use for your shoot! Each student will be allocated a specific time to come in for an hour of make-up and hair styling with Belly Burlesque Babe Prue Welsh (www.underbellydance.com) This will be followed by a 75min session with the photographer. At the end you will be given a disc and will choose your favourite pic. Bottoms Up! will take orders over the following week and organise for your pic to be printed as an A4 size image which will be posted to, or collected by you. Now you are now ready to pin yourself up! PLEASE NOTE: the allocated time slots will be arranged the week prior between Bottoms Up! and the students, and will take place on Saturday or Sunday. We will do all possible to arrange the most suitable time for each student.
